McHappy Day May 2nd 2018

McHappy Day is a day where all people can come out to show their support for Westman Dreams for Kids! We are so thankful to George Sheard and McDonalds for having the proceeds for this event donated to Westman Dreams for Kids. We are able to keep the money raised here in Westman to help the children and families that live here.

Over the years we have been able to build tremendous support for this event and in 2017 we were able to raise $25,371, that is an extraordinary number.

How can you help?

Head over to your nearest McDonalds Restaurant on My 2nd!

$1.00 from every Big Mac, Kids meal and McCafe will be donated to Westman Dreams for Kids

Volunteer!

We have 1 hour shifts running from 7am-7pm at all 4 McDonalds restaurants.  Work the drive through window, take orders, or flip burgers!! This is a very fun day!

If you have any qestions about McHappy day or are interested in volunteering, give our office a call at 204-729-8898 or email wdfk@mymts.net.

Sydeny’s Mall of America Adventure

Because of the support we get from Westman we are able to do things like this! We are so very happy for Sydney and wish her all the best!

To this wonderful organization,

We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us put this beautiful smile on Sydneys face for an entire week.

Sydneys medical journey has been full of highs and lows with so many unknowns. Sydney was granted a wish when she was 4 and this past September was healthy enough to make it happen! We loaded up our van and headed to Mall of America in Minneapolis so Sydney could experience the American girl doll store up close. I have attached a few pictures so you can see just how full of joy her entire week was. Sydney could not have chosen a better wish! Her new doll Emily has already provided her with hours of entertainment and will forever be cherished by her.

2017-2018 Goals for Kids Campaign

The Brandon Wheat Kings Goals for Kids program in support of Westman Dreams for Kids was launched in 1992.  Since its induction, together we have been able to raise over $300,000 to help children right here in Westman. The mandate of Westman Dreams for Kids is to help local families and make dreams come true for children in the Westman area who are facing serious health concerns and disabilities. We have been able to grant hundreds of dreams and are currently working with 22 different families.  The long standing relationship we have with the Brandon Wheat Kings and the generous support from our sponsors allows us to continue to make dreams come true for these young deserving children.

You can become one of our “Dream Makers” with a $400 donation to the Wheat Kings Goals for Kids Program.  You will receive acknowledgment at each Brandon Wheat Kings game (home and away), on the scoreboard at the game, on our Dreams for Kids website, in the printed edition of Prime Time and on air with QCountry.

We have been able to grant so many Dreams from this program and hope that you will choose to join us! Give us a call at 204-729-8898 or email us at wdfk@mymts.net to find out more.

2017 McHappy Day

We had another hugely successful year with McHappy Day. This is one of our biggest fundraisers every year! We want to send out a huge Thank you to everyone who came in to purchase a happy meal or coffee, to our dedicated team of McHappy day Volunteers and to George and the staff at McDonald for all the hard work they put in to this day.  This year our local McDonald’s restaurants were able to raise $25,731 that will go a very long way in helping children and their families in Westman
